A jetpack will set you back forty gold from the steampunker and you will need to defeat a mechanical boss in order to unlock them in the first place. Use a molten pickaxe to gather some cobalt or palladium, whichever ended up spawning in your world. You should be getting plenty of souls as you are collecting the new hardmode ores. Hardmode boss-summoning items are crafted at this. It can also be used to craft any item that would otherwise require an Iron Anvil, therefore eliminating the need for an Iron Anvil. The Mythril Anvil is required to make Mythril and better items. You will need twenty five souls of light/night to make angel or demon wings. You do not have to kill a biome specific mob to earn souls of light/night just be in the respective biome to get the souls to drop. To craft all Mythril equipment, a total of 155 Bars (or 620 Ore) is required.First start by tracking down a wyvern high in the sky. It requires a pickaxe power of 110 to mine ( Cobalt/ Palladium pickaxe or better, or any drill). Mythril Ore is found throughout the Cavern layer as well as in most Hardmode Crates. Note that its equivalent, Orichalcum Ore, may spawn instead. Mythril Ore is a Hardmode ore that appears in the world every two out of three Demon Altars or Crimson Altars that have been destroyed.
